Virtual Glastonbury is based in Glastonbury, UK.
The original aim of the site was to provide details and information about the town of Glastonbury and build a photo/media archive of photos and other material.
We are about to take over the Glastonbury photo archive and at the same time we are in process of creating an online photo/art gallery featuring local photographers and artists and also allowing the purchase online of these items.

The site is run in conjunction with Avalon Connections which is essentially a web 'portal', the aim of which is to provide links to Glastonbury web sites. While both sites have quite different functions there are a number of shared areas and we are interested in how better the two can connect.
We are also working together with other town websites so as to be able to maintain and support each other's unique offerings. See the links page for a list of these sites.
